The Burnet CISD Board of Trustees approved a resolution to pay district employees who were unable to work because of the district weather closure from Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, through Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. The motion, made by Angela Moore and seconded by David Bennett, carried with Trustees Earl Foster, Angela Moore, Mark Kincaid, David Bennett and Suzanne Brown voting yes; Katy Duke and Ross Behrens were recorded absent.
