Earl Foster, president of the Burnet Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees, called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. in the BCISD Board Room and said, "a quorum of Board members was present for the purposes of canvassing an election and that the meeting had been duly called and posted in accordance with Texas Government Code, Section 551." The meeting record lists Foster and Mark Kincaid as the trustees present; five other trustees were recorded as absent.
