St. Maries council adopts cemetery code amendments

City Clerk Jaidyn Kinzer read Ordinance No. 2026-791 by title during the June 22 meeting, and the council voted to adopt the code amendments to cemetery regulations under suspension of the rules. The motion to pass the ordinance's first reading was moved by Councilor Cindy Willard and seconded by Councilor Jeff Pugh; the subsequent suspension and adoption were carried by unanimous vote.
