Chip-and-seal project near completion; sidewalk replacements and other road work planned

Councilmembers reported the chip-and-seal project came in under $50,000 with fog coat and striping remaining; the city is seeking contractors for sidewalk replacement and awaiting a corrected Google contract. Public Works Director Clayten Nelson said the county will return to apply the fog coat soon.

Councilmember Lance Pitcher reported the chip-and-seal resurfacing project was nearing completion with only final fog coating and paint striping left; Public Works Director Clayten Nelson said the county would return to apply the fog coat within a week or two. Pitcher said the project came in just under $50,000.
