Jail administrator reports 198 inmates; five transfers to DOC this week
Jail Administrator David Weber told the Comanche County Facilities Authority the detention center had 198 inmates on July 31, 2026 (153 males, 45 females); five inmates were transferred to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections this week and five were ready for transfer. The board authorized Weber to consult legal counsel regarding the jail trust indenture.

David Weber, the Comanche County Jail Administrator, provided the board with a head count and transfer updates during the Aug. 3 meeting. "AS OF JULY 31, 2026 THE DETENTION CENTER HAD A COUNT OF 198 INMATES. THIS IS COMPRISED OF 153 MALES AND 45 FEMALES," the minutes record. He also reported that five inmates were transferred to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections this week and five inmates were ready to go to DOC.
