The Aquilla ISD board approved a new boys powerlifting program at an estimated cost of $5,000 following a motion by Trustee Diane Montgomery; the motion passed unanimously.

Superintendent David Edison told the board there is interest in starting a boys powerlifting program and that the estimated cost is $5,000. Trustee Diane Montgomery moved to approve the program and Trustee Amber Cain seconded; the board approved the program unanimously.
