Ely school board approves two‑year master agreement, includes 4‑day week task force
The Ely Public School District board approved a July 1, 2025–June 30, 2027 Master Agreement with the Ely Education Association that includes pay‑step adjustments, online/hybrid instructional language, formation of a task force and memoranda of understanding about a potential 4‑day school week. The vote was unanimous, 6–0.

The School Board of Independent School District No. 696 voted May 11 to approve a two‑year Master Agreement with the Ely Education Association covering July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027. Director Westlund moved the agreement and Director Omerza seconded; the motion carried 6–0.
