AHISD recognizes student achievements: state qualifiers and awards
The board highlighted student successes including three AHHS TAFE national qualifiers, nine teams at State Odyssey of the Mind (one Pre-K team qualified for Worlds), UIL State Solo & Ensemble qualifiers, and a third-place finish at the Texas Educational Colorguard Association state competition.

Trustees recognized a range of student accomplishments at the April 15 meeting. District staff reported that three Alamo Heights High School students qualified for the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) national competition; nine teams from across the district competed at the State Odyssey of the Mind competition (representing Cambridge, Woodridge and the Junior School), and one Pre-K 'DJs' team from Cambridge qualified for the Worlds competition.
