Milwaukee County names wards for voluntary post-election audits
County elections staff selected several wards — including Ward 182, Ward 33 and Whitefish Bay Wards 8 and 10 — for a routine voluntary audit to verify ballots against voting-equipment totals as part of the canvass.

An elections official told the board the county performs a random voluntary audit after every election to "demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of our voting equipment in Milwaukee County." For this election the official said the county selected Ward 182 and Ward 33 (central count); Whitefish Bay Wards 8 and 10; Oak Creek Ward 15 (polling place); and Franklin Ward 9 (central count).
