Lake County commissioners approved an amended special-event permit for the Leadville Trail 100 run and related races. Organizers explained the outbound route would follow the mountain-bike outbound toward Keymans and the inbound would include a single-track loop around Turquoise Lake, with a change that removes an aid station at May Queen and places it at Carter Summit.
