Academic update: partial gains in Math TSI and three CMA certifications completed

Ms. Jones, the district's Assistant Superintendent of Academics, presented the Goal 1 update on May 21. Her report noted that 28 (one-third) of 8th-grade Algebra I students passed the Math TSI test, while 19% of high school Algebra II students passed the same assessment. Ms. Jones also reported that three students completed Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) industry-based certifications.
