Board directs General Manager to cast CSDA Coastal Network vote for Meckstroth after multiple motions

The Board considered how the District should cast its vote for the California Special Districts Association (CSDA) Board of Directors — Coastal Network. Directors made successive motions to direct the General Manager to cast the vote for different candidates. Initial motions to direct the GM to vote for Ms. McMillan and for Mr. Meckstroth failed; a motion to vote for Mr. Ferrante also failed. A final motion by Director Ohlmann, seconded by Director Rockenbach, directing the General Manager to cast the District's vote for Mr. Meckstroth carried with four AYES (Directors Barrett, Murphy, Ohlmann, Rockenbach) and one NAY (Director Johnson).
