Council approved Ordinance No. 113-2026 to accept the proposal of RSC Insurance Brokerage, Inc., a Brown & Brown company, to serve as the city's professional insurance-brokerage consultant. Brian McCann presented and read the ordinance title before moving for passage; the council voted 6–0 to adopt the ordinance as an emergency.
