The Santa Rosa ISD Board approved a motion to request proposals for resurfacing or replacing the school track during the Nov. 17 meeting. Trustee Rachel Olivarez made the motion, and Secretary Kelly R. Ballin seconded; the minutes record that the motion carried with yes votes from Rene Flores, Juan M. Perez, Mark Chairez and Alissa Perez.
