Seminole ISD board extends district administrators' contracts after closed session
After a closed executive session on personnel, trustees approved contract extensions for district administrators (assistant superintendent, CFO, directors, campus administrators) for 2026–27 and 2027–28, and approved non-certified administrative extensions for the same years; motions passed 6-0.

President Michael Wood called a closed session at 7:50 p.m. under Texas Government Code §551.074 to deliberate personnel matters, including consideration of contracts for district administrators. After reconvening at 8:59 p.m., the board voted to approve administrative contract extensions for district administrators for the 2026'27 and 2027'28 school years. Trustee Lance Wright moved the action and Trustee Herman Peters seconded; the motion carried 6-0.
