Stamford ISD board casts votes in Haskell and Jones County appraisal-district elections
The board voted to allocate district votes for two county appraisal-district board elections: 34 votes for Matt Mueller in the Haskell County election and 333 votes for Jim Astin in the Jones County election. Both motions passed on unanimous roll calls of present members.

During the Nov. 17 meeting, the board approved allocations of its appraisal-district votes for upcoming county board elections. "I make the motion to cast 34 votes for Matt Mueller," said Curtis Birdsong; the motion was seconded by Dale Caddell and passed on a roll call with six yeas and one absence.
