The Channelview Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a Second Amendment to the Superintendent's Employment Contract at a called meeting on Feb. 3, 2026, the minutes show. Trustee Shumona Collins moved to "approve the Second Amendment to the Superintendent's Employment Contract as discussed in closed session," and Trustee Ramiro Granados seconded, according to the official minutes.
