Madison County supervisors approve Holy Trinity 'churchyard' cemetery
The board approved a request from Holy Trinity to establish a roughly 1‑acre 'churchyard' cemetery on property the parish recently bought; the church said it plans about 300 gravesites and provided supporting documents.

Joanne Watson, senior warden of the vestry at Holy Trinity, told the board the parish purchased two acres on Bozeman Road in South Madison County and intends to set aside roughly 1 acre as a "churchyard," a cemetery for the parish. "We will plot out approximately 300 gravesites with appropriate spacing between, etcetera," Watson said, and offered to provide documentation and answer questions from supervisors.
