The Ferris ISD Board of Trustees approved a contract and service agreement for Capturing Kids’ Hearts for the 2026–2027 year during the June 16 meeting. The program was presented as supporting academic achievement and student well‑being; Richard Sasser moved for approval, Hershana Rouwtt seconded, and the motion carried unanimously (7–0).
