Deputy Chair Kovacs explained the county code currently prohibits vendors at the County Pool Complex even though a permanent concessionaire has operated there for years. The proposed local law (Local Law No. 12 of 2026 / Res. 450) would permit vending and concessions at the pool during authorized events, subject to Department of Public Works approval.
