Board approves multiple fund amendments, tables large purchase order and opens bond-proceeds account
Gladewater ISD approved Fund 199 Amendments #10 and #11, Fund 240 Amendment #2, approved opening a City National Bank account for bond proceeds, and tabled purchase orders over $25,000 pending possible grant funding.

The board approved several targeted budget actions on June 22. Fund 199 Budget Amendment #10 reclassified end-of-year function expenses among Functions 11 (Instruction), 21 (Operations), 33 (Health Services) and 35 (Food Services) with a net $0 effect on the fund balance; the motion (moved by Corina Arevalo, seconded by Ross Morgan) passed unanimously. The board also approved Fund 199 Amendment #11 to post additional budgeted revenue per the Texas Education Agency for an increase in CTE revenue; that motion (moved by Ross Morgan, seconded by Danielle Budro) passed 5-0.
