Council authorizes $250,000 more for pavement patching with TK Concrete

Council voted to authorize the city manager to use an additional $250,000 for pavement patching, contracting with TK Concrete at the same unit prices as the original contract. Public-works staff explained the funds are intended to address streets flagged by the pavement-condition index (PCI), including Maple Avenue, Collins, North Terrace and areas near Edgewood, and said concrete repairs have performed well in recent work.
