In response to public comments during the Nov. 10, 2025 meeting, Mayor Christopher J. Walker said installation of speed limit signs for Highway 85 is currently waiting on information from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). He noted that the post for the sign on Flat Shoals Road has been installed but the sign itself still needs programming.
