District staff presented bids and site constraints for two playground projects and the board approved a procurement path and vendor selection. Scott Cummings presented the H. O. Whitehurst and Enge-Washington Intermediate School playground bids; the board discussed demolition, ground work, filler, canopies, water drainage, and ADA-compliant equipment. Staff noted Kids Kare Academy work would be deferred and that an electrical line running through that site may prevent installing a canopy.
