After discussion about where to reduce quantities and which trail segments required more material, a motion to approve the contract with the reduced scope was made and carried by roll call. The engineer said the revised plan would cut estimated aggregate from about 15,000 tons to roughly 9,600 tons and that placement would be coordinated with the contractor to maximize trail benefit.
