Board adopts resolution delegating certain payments to weekly auditor warrants

The Morrison County Board approved a resolution formalizing a change to warrant processing that will move certain payment types to weekly auditor-issued warrants. Auditor Shannon Goa said the proposal aims to improve transparency and speed payments by having a weekly warrant register prepared by the Auditor's Office. "This is still a board approved expenses... This is credit to the credit process," the auditor explained while outlining that departments will still review invoices and sign off before payment.
