Superintendent reports bond project progress; pool awaits final occupancy work

Superintendent Dr. Adam Spina provided a facilities update tied to the district bond program. He reported that flooring work across the middle and high schools is complete and the high‑school paving and east‑lot foundational work have addressed prior pavement issues. The district has a temporary occupancy certificate for the pool; final occupancy is pending completion of scaffolding work on the roof so final certification can be issued.

Dr. Spina also said the district's new digital phone system is installed and acknowledged James Doyen for planning and oversight of the project. For elementary expansions, "Explorer foundations in place" and masonry work began on Aug. 10, with classroom walls and hallways to follow. Board members were informed these projects will be included in future facility reports and the next regular meeting will feature further detail from Director of Facilities Brandon Weingartz.
