Howe ISD board approves professional contracts after executive session
Following executive session on March 9, the Howe ISD board unanimously approved professional contracts for teachers, coaches and nurses. The board reconvened at 7:53 p.m. and approved contracts 7–0.

After an executive session that began at 7:07 p.m. for Boardbook training and professional contract discussions, the Howe ISD Board reconvened at 7:53 p.m. Superintendent Ritchie Bowling presented contract recommendations; Trustee Michael Doty moved to accept the contracts as presented and Trustee Charles Haley seconded. The board approved the professional contracts 7–0.
