Council discussed a request from the Oregon Public Library for TIF funds to replace doors and repair the façade. City Manager Darin DeHaan said the city "needs to finalize the criteria for the use of TIF funds" and warned that if the city provides TIF to the library, "requests will come from other taxing bodies." He also noted the city previously provided ARPA funds to the library district and the fire protection district and mentioned historic-preservation grants the library could pursue.
