Claiborne County Commits $1.43 Million Match for Springdale Sewer Expansion

The Claiborne County Commission on July 20 approved Resolution 2026-083 to commit $1,429,250 in local funds as the required match for a proposed Springdale Sewer Line Expansion Project. The resolution states the total estimated project cost is $2,429,250 and authorizes County Mayor Joseph Brooks to execute documents to support an Appalachian Regional Commission grant application for $1,000,000 through the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
