Board outlines districtwide cell-phone ban, PowerSchool tracking and delivery restrictions

District staff described operational elements of a proposed cell-phone and student-recording policy at the July 23 special meeting. Dr. DiPonio said violations would be entered into PowerSchool so incidents can be tracked and that the district will prohibit cell phones "from building entrance to exit," with medical waivers available for students who require devices for health reasons.
