Council reviewed the Borough'9s role as administrative municipality for the Beaver Valley Regional Police Department (BVRPD) and concerns about Local Share Account (LSA) grant eligibility. Members discussed that applicants must be municipalities to apply for LSA grants and that sponsorship practices can affect eligibility; Councilmember Jocelyn Hertneky asked for assurance the Borough would not serve as a sponsoring municipality for a period to allow the Borough to pursue its own grant opportunities.
