Scurry-Rosser plans summer kitchen upgrades using grants and district funds

The Scurry-Rosser ISD Student Health Advisory Council heard on May 1 that the district will purchase new kitchen equipment for campus cafeterias using a mix of grant and district funding. Tonya Ponder, the district's Child Nutrition Director, said the work will take place over the summer of 2026 to modernize long-neglected kitchens.
