Audits find campuses secure; TEA vulnerability assessment flags minimal issues
Intruder detection audits at all three Scurry‑Rosser campuses found no deficiencies; a TEA District Vulnerability Assessment identified minimal findings and will be presented to the Board of Trustees. A list of minor corrective items (door latches, peepholes, ballistic film) is in progress.

The Safety and Security Committee reviewed recent safety audits and a TEA District Vulnerability Assessment during its May 1 meeting. Chief Jayme Burley reported that intruder detection audits were performed at all three campuses and that auditors found "no deficiencies or findings," describing the campuses as highly secure. The TEA DVA identified only minimal findings; the committee will share the DVA report with the Board of Trustees for review.
