The Midlothian ISD Board on June 1, 2026, approved a nomination of Trustee Jessica Ward for consideration to the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, Region 10, Position D. Trustee John Knight moved the nomination and Trustee Gary Vineyard seconded; the motion passed 6-0 with Trustee Richard Peña absent.
