After returning from executive session, the Mission CISD Board approved several personnel recommendations from the superintendent. Trustee Iris Iglesias moved to approve the recommended hires for VMHS Assistant Principal, Special Education Diagnostician, and PEIMS Specialist; the administration recommended Trinidad Pena for Director of Bilingual/ESL. Trustee Dolores Reyna seconded the motion and the board recorded a unanimous 7–0 vote in favor.
