Chair warned that MIS (information services) is requesting five positions — including website and network administrators — and several expensive software maintenance contracts that together substantially increase capital and operating needs. "There are some software maintenance contracts we have that'll be in excess of $750,000," the Chair said, and noted single purchases can reach several hundred thousand dollars.
