Acting Commissioner Giselle told the committee the county’s latest homeless census figures have edged down: “From this report, we had 223 … and we're down to 219 now,” she said. Giselle credited targeted rental‑supplement efforts and the housing‑access voucher program for part of the decline; the county originally received five vouchers and four of those placements are used or pending while one was reallocated.
