The Palacios ISD board approved a renovation of the server room (referred to in the minutes as the "Byte Cave") and a full roof replacement at the Feb. 9 meeting. The motion—"I make a motion to approve the Byte Cave renovation and full roof replacement as recommended including the AGM quote for renovation and the hidden fastener roof"—was made by Carl Filip and seconded by Ron Laws; it passed with five yea votes and two members absent.
