Hall County asks staff to draft plan as transit funding falls short

Board members agreed they could not resolve the funding shortfall immediately and directed transit staff to prepare a plan for partial-year operations, including a staged wind-down if necessary, and to return with that plan and a recommended public-hearing schedule in two weeks. The board's directive was made as an early warning to avoid an abrupt service stop and to ensure contractors are given appropriate notice.
