At the close of its Aug. 12 meeting, the Mendocino County Archaeological Commission announced it continues to seek applicants for two open seats: the Native American representative and an industry representative. The chair encouraged interested residents to contact the county planning and building department or the executive office for information about qualifications and how to apply.
