The Pendleton School District Board of Directors approved second reading and adopted three policies recommended by the Oregon School Boards Association.
Director Patrick Gregg moved to approve the listed policies; Director Ryan Lehnert seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The adopted policies include LBEA (Denial for Virtual Public Charter School Student Enrollment), IIBG (Responsible Use of Technology) and IKJ (Artificial Intelligence).
Board materials indicated OSBA recommended the policies for local adoption; no amendments were proposed at the meeting. The policies were adopted as presented and will be incorporated into district policy manuals.
