Commissioners pass consent agenda including $478,021.20 solar-array contract and multiple planning contracts

The Shelby County Board of Commissioners approved a consent agenda that included vendor contracts and grant-related resolutions. The clerk read a series of items: an information-technology case system maintenance renewal with Technologics Inc. for up to $102,249; several on-call transit and planning contracts with firms such as Nelson tl Nygaard, Gresham Smith, and WSP, each in amounts not to exceed $150,000; and a contract with Carbon Recall Chattanooga for engineering and installation of solar arrays in the amount of $455,258 plus an extra work allowance of $22,763.20, for a not-to-exceed total of $478,021.20.
