Arlington ISD to implement approved bond; board selects procurement methods for Phase 1 projects

Superintendent Dr. Smith reported the results of the May 2, 2026 bond election: voters approved Propositions A and B. Dr. Smith outlined next steps for bond implementation, including continued community communication, forming a citizens bond oversight committee, and long-range facility planning discussions that will include consideration of sixth-grade alignment and further evaluation of Proposition C projects that voters did not approve.
