The Arlington ISD Board approved a new district vision statement Feb. 19, voting 5–0 to adopt the language: "Arlington ISD Creates Exceptional Learning Experiences That Inspire All Students, Empower Their Dreams, and Prepare them for the Future." Trustee Larry Mike moved the adoption; Trustee Sarah McMurrough seconded the motion.
