County documents road-reconstruction contracts and rejects two bids for seal coat work
The court formally accepted multiple previously approved road-reconstruction contracts with Reynolds & Kaye LLC and Rayford's Truck & Tractor, and voted to reject both bids on bid 2023-08 (seal coat project); most contract acceptances were recorded with unanimous votes.

During the purchasing portion of the April 25 meeting the court documented and accepted original contract signatures and returned several contract awards for road reconstruction to the court record. The purchasing agent explained originals had been mailed and the court voted to accept the contracts so they would be recorded in the minutes.
