Longview Asphalt donates about 400 guardrail posts to Harrison County road crews
The county accepted an in-kind donation of roughly 400 guardrail posts from Longview Asphalt for use by the Road & Bridge Department; staff said the material is in a nearby stockpile and the county will pick it up as needed.

Harrison County road maintenance staff told the commissioners court April 25 that Longview Asphalt has offered approximately 400 guardrail posts and posts for county use. Road & Bridge staff said the materials are staged near the railroad track on Akins Road off Highway 80 East and the department will pick them up and store them for future guardrail repairs.
