Sheriff Brendon Bright reports staffing changes, contract review and planned vehicle purchases

Newly caucused Sheriff Brendon Bright presented his bond to the board, which approved it 3-0. Bright reported that three deputies are in training at the academy with graduation scheduled in August, and that Tobias Lezenby has been appointed Chief Deputy. He also noted personnel changes: Britt Ostler (previously county auditor) has been assigned as Matron, and Captain Matt Myers is expected to retire effective June 22; another deputy may retire July 31 pending official notice.
