The Fabens ISD board voted 4–3 on May 20 to repost a request for qualifications for a forensic financial audit after the district received no proposals following an initial posting. Lydia Nunez, the district's director of finance, told trustees the RFQ was posted on March 25 with an extended deadline but closed with "no responses or proposals received."
