Peekskill outlines 2026 paving list as DPW prepares bid documents
City manager and DPW presented a list of streets proposed for the 2026 paving and resurfacing program and said the city will issue bid documents once the New York State budget is finalized. The council authorized proceeding with the program and obtaining competitive bids.

City Manager (Matt) and DPW staff presented Peekskill’s proposed 2026 paving and resurfacing list and asked the council to authorize competitive bidding and potential joint agreements with Con Edison. The streets named included Academy; Decatur; Orchard to Maine; Bridal Drive; Requa; Smith to Simpson; Horton; Lincoln from Grant to Finch; Constant from Nelson to the dead end; Boulevard from Prospect to Riverview; DuPuy from Franklin to Hudson; Short Street; Lower Washington from Blalock to the city line; and Phoenix from Nelson to Highland.
